DPPILOT / PRACTICAL GUIDANCE

Better inputs.
More useful passports.

Prepare product information with traceable sources and appropriate public disclosures. The checklist below is a working starting point, not a substitute for the requirements applicable to your sector.

01 / DPP DATA CHECKLIST

Five checks before publishing.

Use these questions when assembling a first product-data catalogue.

01 / IDENTITY

Who is responsible?

Product and model identifiers, brand, responsible organisation and product category.

02 / SOURCE

Can each claim be traced?

Record the origin of material claims, documents, declarations and supporting evidence.

03 / CONSISTENCY

Do the values agree?

Review units, composition percentages, revisions and inconsistent product descriptions.

04 / VISIBILITY

Who may see what?

Differentiate confidential operational notes from information approved for publication.

05 / MAINTENANCE

Who updates the record?

Assign responsibility for corrections, product changes, published URLs and archive policies.

06 / COMPLIANCE BOUNDARY

Check the applicable legal obligations.

European DPP rules develop by product category. A publicly accessible product page or QR code is not, by itself, proof of legal compliance.

02 / OFFICIAL SOURCES

Work from the regulation, not assumptions.

Use official EU sources for the current framework, the DPP Registry and upcoming sector requirements. Confirm the requirements for each product category before implementing formal registration.
